PRECIOUS AND SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES THAT ENNOBLE WAGNER ARTE JEWELRY
Due
to their uniqueness and special quality, Wagner Arte
jewels
are in a special category. The material medium used, porcelain, is a
distinctive characteristic from the start. The precious metals with
which the porcelain jewelry is decorated by hand - pure gold, silver,
platinum - raise the jewelry to a higher level of quality, but what
ennobles them are the precious and semi-precious stones that complete
the unique design of these creations.
In this page we
offer you some interesting information about these stones, which
Nature seems to have created especially for our delight.
After the descriptions, you will find direct links to our jewels that contain precious and semi-precious stones (click on the name of the jewel) and you will be able to choose your favorite jewel according to the type of stone used.
AGATE
Agate is a
semi-precious stone, a
variety of chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline form of quartz. Agates can

All agates have a wonderful glossy surface and are hard enough for
most uses in jewelry making.

- helps improve circulation at the cellular level
CITRINE

stone, a variety
of quartz whose color varies from pale yellow to brown passing
through red-orange due to a submicroscopic distribution of colloidal
ferric hydroxide impurities. The name comes from the Latin word
citrina
which means "yellow" and is also the origin of the word
"citron"
(fr.: lemon). Due to its appearance and due to its energetic
properties, the citrine is also called the "Maker
of light".
Also known as the "Merchant's
Stone",
the citrine is believed to bring prosperity when kept in the
valuables safe.

and jewelry.

- contributes to a more positive and optimistic outlook on life
DIAMOND
Diamond
is a solid form of pure carbon with its atoms arranged in the form of
a crystal and is one of the most famous and most sought after
precious stones since ancient times. The hardness of the diamond and
its high dispersion of light - giving the diamond its characteristic
"fire" - make it useful for industrial applications and
desirable as a gem. The diamond is the most romanticized and the most
heavily marketed of all precious stones.
Diamond:
- is a strong supporter of relationships
- also signifies commitment and fidelity
- attracts abundance, especially wealth
JADE

LAPIS LAZULI
Lapis
lazuli is a deep blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone
since ancient times, which has remained popular even today. Lapis
lazuli was used for inlays and insertions, as well as pigments for
cosmetics and paintings. Today, lapis lazuli is predominantly used
for jewelry.

MOONSTONE
Moonstone
is a silicate of sodium, potassium and aluminum from the feldspar
group, which has a pearly and opalescent inner luster, hence its
name, being likened to the glow of the moon. Moonstone
has been used in jewelry for millennia, including in ancient
civilizations. The Romans admired the moonstone, because they
believed it came from the solidified rays of the Moon. Both the
Romans and the Greeks associated the moonstone with their lunar
deities. In more recent history, moonstone became popular during the
Art Nouveau period. The French goldsmith René Lalique and many
others created a large amount of jewelry using this semi-precious
stone.
Moonstone:
- offers fortification at the level of the soul, but also for strengthening the mind
- contributes to stress relief
- contributes to the purification of negative energy in the mental plane
MORGANITE
A
member of the beryl family, morganite exhibits a variety of pink
colors due to traces of manganese. Morganite
is one of the rarest members of the beryl family, second only to red
beryl. Those that are deep pink in color tend to be the most
valuable. Recently, this semi-precious
stone has experienced an increase in popularity and value. According
to a 2017 survey, morganite is the second most popular stone outside
of diamond, after sapphire.

the form of the bands; agate has curved bands while onyx has parallel
bands. The colors of its bands range from black to almost every
color. Specimens of onyx commonly contain bands of black and/or
white.

- is essential for spiritual awakening, being a symbol of peace and calm during the night
- contributes to calming and soothing everyday stress
- helps to find self-control
PEARL
Wagner
Arte
uses pearls of culture in its creations. These are pearls which are
formed within a cultured pearl sac by
human intervention in the interior of productive living molluscs.
Having the same material as natural pearls, cultured pearls can be
grown in sea water or fresh water. Nowadays, it is believed that more
than 95% of the pearls available on the market are cultured
pearls.
The pearls have a translucent
appearance and can have different colors, from white to
black.
Pearl:
- has the ability to balance the aura, helping to anchor and center oneself in a chaotic world
- helps develop inner wisdom
- provides protection and safety in all aspects of life
PERIDOT
Peridot,
sometimes called chrysolite, is a transparent yellow-green variety of
olivine. Peridot is one of the few semi-precious
stones
that appear in only one color. Olivine is an abundant mineral, but
gem-quality peridot is quite rare due to its chemical
instability.
Peridot:
- banishes fears and nightmares
- sharpens the mind and opens it to new levels of awareness and growth
- contributes to alleviating feelings of jealousy, envy, anger, hatred and resentment
ROSE QUARTZ
Quartz
is a hard, crystalline mineral composed of silicon dioxide. There are
many different varieties of quartz, many of which are classified as
semi-precious
stones.
Ever since antiquity, quartz varieties have been the most frequently
used minerals in making jewelry and sculptures, especially in
Eurasia. Rose quartz is a type of quartz that has a shade of pale
pink to rosy red due to traces of titanium, iron or
manganese.
Quartz:

- contributes to increasing vitality and potential
- allows you to discover clarity at the level of the mind, eliminating mental confusion and reaching a higher level of your being

Ruby is a precious stone of a pinkish red to blood-red colour, a variety of the mineral corundum. Ruby is one of the most popular traditional jewelry gems and is very durable. Ruby is one of the traditional cardinal gems, alongside amethyst, sapphire, emerald, and diamond. The word “ruby” comes from ruber, Latin for red. The color of a ruby is due to the element chromium.
Ruby:
- contributes to increasing energy and vitality
- contributes to finding a higher self-confidence
- contributes to a brave and positive state of mind
SAPPHIRE
Sapphire
is a
precious stone, one
of the two varieties of corundum, the other being the ruby (defined

Turquoise:
- is a support for physical healing, but also for mental and emotional well-being
- ensures emotional stability and serenity

ZIRCON
Zircon is a natural, magnificent, and underrated semi-precious stone that has been worn and treasured since ancient times. It’s not cubic zirconia, it's a mineral belonging to the group of nesosilicates. Transparent zircon is a well-known form of semi-precious gemstone, favored for its high specific gravity and adamantine luster. Because of its high refractive index (1.92) it has sometimes been used as a substitute for diamond, though it does not display quite the same play of color as a diamond.
